IT support can be an expensive proposal which might involve buying into a long support contract that doesn’t necessarily prove to be value for money. We don’t believe in these types of contracts which is why we provide support packages to suit all budgets and requirements.
IT support on a monthly subscription basis that has no minimum sign up period and can be cancelled at any time. This plan is designed to benefit the customer by providing a piece of mind for your IT support needs. In addition to providing support to your users we’ll also monitor and provide support on your office and cloud-based servers and solutions. The plan is perfect for small businesses that are consuming IT but don’t want the additional employee overhead cost of full time IT staff.
The plan is all about value to our customers to this end our Virtual IT support plan provides the following features:
- 6 hours/month of user support (remote or onsite) included
- Email/telephone support (8am – 6pm) out of hours supported provided as best endeavour
- Office 365 administration
- Local and cloud server monitoring and alerting
- Network and broadband
- Backup/recovery monitoring and alerting
- Dedicated customer portal to monitor support usage
- Site visits are charged for the time on site, there is no charge for call out.
- Discounted hourly rate for additional support hours
£199+vat per month. No minimum term or up front costs.
Keeping control of IT costs is very important to the business owner. This is where our pre-paid support can help. Customers can purchase support time in the form of 1 hour blocks. There is no limit to the number of hours a customer can purchase, once purchased the time remains valid until it is consumed. When all the hours have been consumed, the customer may purchase more blocks, they can also top-up at any time if they feel their bank of hours is running low.
How is time consumed?
Once a customer raises a support ticket the time spent on resolving the issue is offset against the bank of hours the customer has purchased. To ensure value for money, time is consumed in 15-minute intervals (time is rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes after 7 ½ minutes has be exceeded).
Quick fix support calls, i.e. user password resets, that are under 15 minutes in duration are free of charge. If the support call exceeds 15 minutes they will be charged at the standard rate.
Site visits are charged for the time on site, there is no charge for call out.
How is support provided?
Support can either be provide by telephone, secure remote session, site visit or a combination of all three.
How are my support hours managed?
Every customer has access to their own secure “Customer Portal”, within this portal there is a list of the support jobs that have been completed by Corinium Technology and their duration. A summary view shows how many support hours a customer has remaining along with a complete record of when hours have been purchased and by whom. Finally, there are email notifications that are sent out when a new job is added to the site ensuring the customer has complete visibility of the support consumption.
What does it cost?
A 1-hour block of time costs £40+vat, there are no setup fees or additional costs.
As an alternative to our support plans we can also offer ad-hoc support. This designed to provide small businesses with support when they need it and rather than committing to paying an up front fee the work is invoiced on completion. We believe that our hourly rate is the best in the area.
Hourly is as simple as it sounds. When you have a support issue you simply call or email and we’ll log your request. The cost to you is how long it takes to resolve the issue to your satisfaction. Invoice is fully itemised with the job detail and amount of time it took to complete. Onsite visits incur a minimum charge of half an hour, then it is charged in 15 minute intervals and rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes after 7 ½ minutes.
Fixed price quote
The fixed price option is a great way to budget for a support issue or maybe a small project request. A small project might be a server upgrade, new PC installation or migrating the office to a cloud technology. In the fixed price quote, you will be provided with itemised quote along with a price. The good news for you here is that price is fixed, the price you see is the price you’ll pay, no more wondering estimates.
